You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in data and AI engineering. Your background includes building robust data pipelines and working with large datasets, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analytics. You are proficient in Python and JavaScript, and you have experience with SQL databases, which allows you to effectively manage and query data.

You are familiar with machine learning concepts and have worked with LLMs, understanding how to integrate them into applications to enhance user experience. Your experience includes developing APIs that facilitate data access and manipulation, and you are comfortable working in a full-stack capacity, contributing to both backend and frontend tasks as needed.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines that support the Scrunch platform. You will work closely with the product team to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements. Your work will involve integrating LLMs into the product, enhancing the capabilities of our analytics APIs, and ensuring that our data processing is efficient and scalable.

You will also engage in some frontend development, primarily using React, to create user interfaces that allow customers to interact with the data effectively. Your contributions will directly impact how brands leverage AI to improve their marketing strategies, making your role crucial to the company's success.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will partner with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that the product roadmap is executed smoothly. You will participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the overall engineering culture at Scrunch.
