Who you are
You have proven experience leading both product and brand design in technology companies — your strong hands-on skills in UI/UX, interaction design, and visual design have allowed you to create engaging product experiences that resonate with users. You understand the importance of a cohesive design language and have experience creating and scaling design systems that serve as a single source of truth for teams.
Your ability to manage internal teams and external collaborators with a focus on delivery and quality sets you apart — you thrive in high-autonomy roles and are comfortable making impactful design decisions that shape the future of a technology stack. Excellent communication skills and leadership presence are second nature to you, allowing you to guide and mentor designers effectively.
Desirable
A background in consumer or Web2 design leadership is preferred, with exposure to AI, blockchain, fintech, or developer platforms being a significant advantage. Experience designing dashboards and data-rich products will further enhance your candidacy.
What you'll do
As the Design Lead at Sentient Labs, you will define and drive the vision for design across our product and brand ecosystem — from high-level strategy to hands-on delivery. You will unify multiple product experiences into a coherent design language while dramatically increasing design velocity. Your responsibilities include leading design strategy and execution across product, brand, and marketing, ensuring coherence across user journeys, dashboards, developer tools, and community touchpoints.
You will establish and own a cohesive design system that serves as a single source of truth for product, marketing, and engineering teams — translating brand vision into engaging product experiences that align with Sentient Labs’ mission and roadmap. You will design key flows, UI components, and visual assets hands-on, balancing high-quality delivery with speed. Additionally, you will identify and resolve design process bottlenecks to improve output without sacrificing quality.
