Who you are
You have a strong background in solutions engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles. You excel at understanding customer pain points and translating them into actionable implementation plans that demonstrate business value. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively engage with developers and stakeholders to ensure successful onboarding and integration of software solutions.
You are familiar with performance and error monitoring tools, and you understand how they can enhance developer productivity and customer satisfaction. Your experience includes developing best practices and educational content around software implementation, ensuring that clients can maximize the value of the tools you help them integrate.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems. Your ability to empathize with customers and understand their needs drives you to deliver exceptional service and support. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance the customer experience.
Desirable
Experience with Sentry or similar monitoring tools is a plus, as is familiarity with software development processes and methodologies. You may also have a background in software development, which helps you better understand the technical challenges faced by your clients.
What you'll do
As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Sentry, you will be responsible for guiding our largest customers through the integration of our performance and error monitoring tools into their applications. You will work closely with development teams to ensure they can effectively identify and resolve slowdowns and errors, ultimately increasing their productivity and satisfaction.
Your role will involve understanding customer objectives and pain points, translating these into tailored implementation plans that meet their specific needs. You will develop best practices and educational content to help clients maximize the value of Sentry's tools, ensuring they are equipped to handle performance and error management effectively.
You will collaborate with various teams, including product management and engineering, to provide feedback on customer needs and help shape the future of our solutions. Your insights will be invaluable in refining our offerings and enhancing the overall customer experience.
In addition to direct customer engagement, you will participate in internal initiatives to improve our solutions engineering processes and methodologies. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and helping them grow in their roles.
