Data Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have over 3 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your expertise includes designing and implementing data lakes and data warehouses, and you are well-versed in building scalable data pipelines. You have a solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and are familiar with tools like dbt and Cloud Composer.

You are proficient in Python and SQL, and you have hands-on experience with BigQuery and Dataflow. Your background includes automating and industrializing data solutions, and you are comfortable working with real-time data solutions using Pub/Sub. You are passionate about cloud technologies and enjoy collaborating with teams to modernize data architectures.

Desirable

Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) is a plus, as is familiarity with monitoring and observability practices for data platforms. You are eager to participate in continuous learning and professional development, and you are excited about opportunities to speak at industry events.

What you'll do

As a Data Engineer GCP at SFEIR, you will join a team of experts to design and develop robust and scalable data pipelines on GCP. You will implement ETL/ELT solutions using dbt on BigQuery and orchestrate data workflows with Cloud Composer. Your role will involve setting up monitoring and observability for data platforms to ensure reliability and performance.

You will participate in the modernization of data architectures for our clients, leveraging your expertise to deliver innovative solutions. You will collaborate closely with other data specialists and contribute to the development of cutting-edge data projects. Your work will have a direct impact on the success of our clients' data initiatives, and you will have opportunities for career advancement into roles such as Data Architect or Tech Lead.
