You are a proactive individual eager to learn and grow in the field of service engineering. As a Junior Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating essential printing equipment, ensuring that all printers are in optimal condition. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are ready to assist your team in daily operations and product improvements. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
You understand the importance of preventive maintenance and are willing to engage in repairs and documentation processes. You are comfortable liaising with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and managing spare parts to ensure seamless operations. Your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be crucial as you contribute to the successful delivery of customer orders.
What you'll do
In this role, you will maintain, service, and operate Shapeways' crucial printing equipment. Your responsibilities will include performing repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all printers run smoothly. You will document your activities and provide training to team members as needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with your team to drive improvements in the printers' Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), ensuring that every customer order is printed to perfection and delivered on time.
You will be involved in daily operations, assisting your team in various processes and product improvements. Your critical feedback will play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the printing operations.
