Overview

Shift4 is hiring a Senior Associate for their Pre-Launch team to manage the lifecycle of merchant onboarding. You'll utilize your technical expertise and project management skills to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for merchants. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in managing customer onboarding processes, ideally with experience in the payments or technology sectors. Your technical expertise allows you to understand and configure complex systems, ensuring that merchants have a smooth transition to using Shift4's products. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with merchants and understand their unique needs. Your project management abilities help you independently manage the onboarding lifecycle, from data gathering to installation scheduling. You are detail-oriented and can document interactions and configurations accurately using tools like Excel and Google Suite. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus, enhancing your ability to serve a diverse merchant base.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the complete lifecycle of merchant onboarding, ensuring that each account is set up correctly before transitioning to the Post-Launch team. You will build relationships with merchants to understand their point-of-sale needs and reporting requirements, customizing the SkyTab configurations to meet their expectations. Your responsibilities will include programming merchant menus, configuring online ordering systems, and ensuring that all marketplace integrations function correctly. You will provide training to merchants on how to effectively use Shift4 products and services, delivering a white-glove service experience that prioritizes merchant satisfaction. Throughout the onboarding process, you will maintain clear communication across various channels, including email, phone, and chat, to address any questions or concerns that arise. Your proactive problem-solving skills will be essential in assessing the feasibility of merchant requests and creating effective solutions. You will document all interactions and configurations meticulously, ensuring that the onboarding process is transparent and efficient.
