Overview

Shift4 is hiring a Partner Payouts & Referral Manager to oversee the calculation and distribution of financial payouts related to merchant accounts and sales partners. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in finance operations, particularly in managing payouts and commissions. Your experience includes validating and reconciling financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all transactions. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to audit accounts effectively and maintain transparency in financial processes. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales teams and partners to refine compensation structures and incentive programs.

You understand the complexities of payment ecosystems and have experience in managing residual payments and bonuses. Your ability to track and validate performance-based incentives demonstrates your commitment to supporting sales channels and internal stakeholders. You are proactive in identifying discrepancies and implementing improvements in payout processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the calculation, reconciliation, and distribution of all residual payments, bonuses, and commissions related to merchant accounts and sales partners. You will validate monthly residual payouts and reconcile processor statements to internal systems, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include auditing merchant accounts for rate changes and billing discrepancies, as well as maintaining and updating residual structures and partner contracts.

You will administer monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses and performance-based incentives, working closely with Sales Leadership to refine compensation structures. Your role will involve tracking and validating activity-based incentives, such as new accounts and volume milestones, to ensure that all partners are compensated fairly and accurately. You will also be responsible for managing chargebacks and fees that impact monthly residual earnings, ensuring that all financial processes are compliant and transparent.
