Who you are
You have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the financial services industry, ideally within payments. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail make you a pro-active self-starter who can work independently. You are a team player who is flexible and able to meet strict deadlines. Fluency in English is essential, and you possess a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
What you'll do
As a Financial Operations Associate at Shift4, you will assist with bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records. Your responsibilities will include the verification and authorization of daily payments, handling treasury back office requests, and performing daily accounting reconciliations, including bank and receivables reconciliations. You will ensure timely and accurate execution of month-end procedures and reconciliations, assist the finance team with the preparation of audit documents, and promote adherence to effective control practices across the team. Additionally, you will execute ad hoc activities as required by senior management, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance operations team.
