What you'll do

As an Autonomy Engineer Intern, you will be paired with members of the core software development team, taking ownership of projects that advance the capabilities of Skydio's planning and controls systems. You will engage in rapid research and development of intelligent systems, exploring new approaches to enhance autonomous capabilities. Your role will involve prototyping and assessing the feasibility of new features that can unlock exciting functionalities for users. You will also characterize and quantify the performance of core components within the software and hardware stack, ensuring that the systems you help develop meet high standards of reliability and efficiency.
