Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with a strong background in both backend and frontend technologies. Your expertise in Python and Go allows you to build robust backend services, while your proficiency in TypeScript enables you to create engaging user interfaces. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers and designers to deliver impactful features.
You possess a deep understanding of cloud-based applications and have experience developing SaaS platforms. Your ability to iterate on features based on customer feedback is a key strength, and you enjoy visiting customers to see your work in action. You are passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems and improve operational efficiency.
Desirable
Experience with drone technology or fleet management systems is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and a strong problem-solving mindset will help you excel in this role.
What you'll do
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the fleet management team, you will design and implement applications that enable customers to manage and scale their drone fleets effectively. You will take ownership of features from conception to deployment, ensuring they meet customer needs and enhance their operational capabilities. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving the Skydio Cloud platform, ensuring it remains reliable and scalable as customer demands grow. Your work will directly impact how customers utilize drones for critical tasks such as energy inspections and public safety responses. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering team.
