Who you are
You have a strong background in systems engineering and site reliability, with at least 5 years of experience in software development and deployment. Your expertise in Linux and Python allows you to build and maintain robust systems that support large-scale operations. You understand the importance of data-driven decision-making and have experience with cloud platforms like AWS. Your familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes enables you to manage complex deployments effectively.
You thrive in high-impact environments where your work directly contributes to customer safety and satisfaction. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can navigate challenges that arise during software releases. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders makes you an effective collaborator within cross-functional teams. What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the camera fleet management team, overseeing the deployment of software across a million devices. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing the infrastructure and tooling necessary for safe and predictable software releases. Your work will involve collaborating with product teams to understand the requirements for new features and enhancements, ensuring that the camera firmware meets customer needs while maintaining high standards of quality.
You will establish processes that facilitate data-driven decision-making, allowing your team to analyze deployment metrics and improve release strategies continuously. Your leadership will guide the team in adopting best practices for software development and deployment, fostering a culture of reliability and accountability.
