You are a reliable and service-oriented People Operations Specialist with a strong focus on ensuring smooth and accurate core processes. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with employees, managers, and external stakeholders to deliver a seamless employee experience from day one. Your attention to detail and organizational skills enable you to manage payroll inputs and onboarding administration effectively. You understand the importance of supporting team members throughout their journey at Smallpdf, ensuring they feel informed and well taken care of.
You have experience in people operations, ideally within a tech or startup environment, and are comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion. Your communication skills allow you to be a trusted point of contact for team members regarding people operations topics. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance the employee experience.
What you'll do
In this role, you will coordinate monthly payroll inputs with external providers, ensuring accurate and timely submissions. You will manage the onboarding and offboarding processes, including contracts, system setups, and documentation, to ensure a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees. You will prepare essential employee documents such as work certificates and confirmations, maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to streamline processes and improve the overall employee experience.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring that all HR-related systems are up to date. Your ability to analyze data and generate reports will help inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
