You have over 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving successful customer engagements. Your background includes deep technical knowledge of data platforms, and you are comfortable interacting with both technical and business executives. You possess strong leadership skills, having mentored and coached teams to exceed revenue goals and deliver high-impact results. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about empowering others to achieve their full potential.
You are adept at understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable strategies that drive business growth. Your experience includes working closely with sales teams to strategize winning sales cycles and support enterprise Proof of Concepts. You have a strong revenue and product mindset, ensuring that your team delivers compelling value-based demonstrations of data platform capabilities.
Desirable
Experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Snowflake, is highly desirable. Familiarity with data ingestion, transformation, and lakehouse workloads will set you apart. You are also encouraged to bring innovative thinking and challenge ordinary approaches to data engineering.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead and manage a team of Data Engineering Specialists, providing strategic, technical, and thought leadership. You will engage directly with customers to understand their data strategy and architect solutions that leverage the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform. Your responsibilities will include mentoring your team, driving high-impact customer engagements, and ensuring that your team meets and exceeds individual and collective revenue goals.
You will collaborate closely with the sales team to strategize and execute on customer engagements, providing technical expertise during the sales process. This includes delivering compelling demonstrations of the Snowflake platform and supporting enterprise Proof of Concepts to showcase its capabilities. You will also be responsible for maintaining a strong focus on revenue growth and product alignment, ensuring that your team is equipped to meet customer needs effectively.
