Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in product management, ideally with experience in early-stage product development and a passion for AI security. You thrive in ambiguous environments and are comfortable taking new ideas from concept to product-market fit. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with engineers, designers, and go-to-market teams, ensuring that all voices are heard in the product development process.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate product vision and strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your analytical mindset helps you identify high-potential opportunities and validate them through user research and data-driven decision-making. You are adaptable and open to feedback, continuously seeking ways to improve both your products and your processes.

Desirable

Experience in AI or security domains is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies and product discovery frameworks. You may have a background in software development or engineering, which gives you a deeper understanding of the technical challenges faced by your teams.

What you'll do

As a Staff Product Manager in the Incubations team at Snyk, you will drive new product discovery by partnering with engineers, designers, and customers to identify and validate high-potential opportunities in AI security. You will lead the product development process from ideation through to product-market fit, ensuring that your team operates with the agility of a startup while leveraging Snyk's established infrastructure and customer base.

You will be responsible for defining the product vision and strategy, conducting user research, and analyzing market trends to inform your decisions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will prioritize features and enhancements that align with customer needs and business goals. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and gather feedback.

You will also play a key role in shaping the culture of innovation within the team, encouraging experimentation and learning from failures. By fostering a collaborative environment, you will help your team navigate the complexities of product development and drive successful outcomes.
