Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus, as is familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. If you have worked in the identity verification or fraud prevention space, that would be an added advantage.

What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Document Verification (DocV) team, you will build and refine the server-side components that enable identity verification at scale. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for identity document processing and verification. You will ensure these services are reliable and performant to handle high-volume identity verification requests.

You will collaborate with product managers and data scientists to integrate machine learning models into the verification workflows, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of the identity verification process. Your role will involve designing microservices that are modular and easy to maintain, allowing for rapid iteration and deployment of new features.

You will also participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Your contributions will directly impact millions of users, ensuring they can verify their identities seamlessly on our platform.
