What you'll do

As a Data Engineer at SpaceX, you will be part of the application software team, which serves as the central nervous system of the company. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain mission-critical applications that support the production and flight of launch vehicles. You will work on systems that ingest and store concurrent streams of data from various always-on assets, ensuring the efficient management of the world's largest satellite constellation and reusable rockets. You will collaborate closely with engineers across the company to update and enhance systems in response to crewed launches, Starship flights, and changes to the Starlink network. Your role will involve designing and implementing data pipelines, optimizing data storage solutions, and ensuring data integrity and accessibility for various applications.
