Who you are
You have 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure. You are proficient in SQL and Python, and have experience with cloud platforms like AWS. Your understanding of data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and orchestration tools like Airflow allows you to effectively manage large datasets and ensure data quality.
You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and network engineers. Your strong communication skills enable you to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and metrics. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, allowing you to identify and address issues proactively.
What you'll do
As a Data Engineer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for developing the strategy and key metrics for the Direct to Cell network, which aims to provide seamless connectivity for LTE devices globally. You will build and maintain mission-critical infrastructure and tools that assess the performance and scalability of the network.
