Who you are

You have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in designing and integrating control systems for complex systems. You are familiar with NFPA79/NEC/UL508A compliance and have a solid understanding of industrial electrical control panels. Your expertise includes interfacing control systems with high-power equipment and communication systems, ensuring safe operation in hazardous environments. You are skilled in designing, writing, and debugging programmable logic controller (PLC) code, with a focus on generating efficient and reliable code. You thrive in challenging environments and are excited about contributing to groundbreaking projects like the Starship program.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and commissioning control systems for the Starship Launch pads. You will create industrial electrical control panels that meet compliance standards and design electrical schematics that ensure safe operation. Your work will involve interfacing control systems with high-power equipment and communication devices, ensuring that all systems operate safely and effectively in hazardous environments. You will also design and debug PLC code, contributing to the development of a launch control system that supports SpaceX's ambitious goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all systems are integrated seamlessly and function as intended.
