SpaceX is hiring an Integration Technician for the Falcon 9 project to assemble and integrate flight hardware. You'll work with mechanical and avionics systems in Hawthorne, CA.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 1+ years of experience with propulsion, avionics, or automotive hardware installation. You possess strong mechanical integration skills and are comfortable using precision calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers. You are detail-oriented and can read and interpret blueprints effectively, ensuring that all assembly and integration tasks are performed according to specifications and procedures. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with production engineers to document and develop activities.

What you'll do

As an Integration Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, integration, and build of flight hardware for the Falcon 9 rocket. Your role will involve staging, setting up, assembling, testing, and installing flight hardware, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and professionally. You will perform hydro and pneumatic testing, and use various mechanical tools without instruction. Your contributions will be critical in the final integration of the first and second stages of the Falcon 9 rocket, which is designed to deliver humans into space.
