Inventory Specialist • Entry-Level

Who you are

You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 1+ years of inventory control experience. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of maintaining strict material handling practices in accordance with established procedures. You are comfortable working in a warehouse environment and have experience operating inventory equipment such as forklifts. You are committed to supporting organizational goals and objectives while ensuring good housekeeping practices in your work area.

What you'll do

As an Inventory Specialist at SpaceX, you will receive, store, and issue raw materials, parts, and hardware to support shop operations. You will be responsible for storing parts and materials in designated locations, ensuring that all items are properly identified. Your role will involve performing picking functions to assemble necessary kits of parts and verifying that all materials received conform to accompanying paperwork. You will also monitor shelf-life storage and maintain proper rotation of stock, ensuring that all materials are accounted for and traceable.
