What you'll do

As a Flight Safety Engineer, you will take on the responsibility of developing the Flight Termination System for the Starship program. This includes defining system design, creating interconnect schematics, and ensuring that all hardware meets stringent safety requirements. You will work on qualification processes and prepare deliverables necessary for mission licensing, demonstrating your ownership from concept through post-flight reporting.

You will engage with various engineering teams to tailor and challenge regulatory requirements, ensuring that the Flight Termination System is not only compliant but also highly reliable. Your role will involve solving complex problems at the intersection of safety-critical hardware and high explosives, requiring a meticulous approach to design and implementation.
