SpaceX is seeking a Global Supply Manager to lead the optimization of the Raptor supply chain. This role requires expertise in machining, forging, and metallic raw materials, along with strong commercial management skills.

You have extensive experience in supply chain management, particularly in machining, forging, and metallic raw materials. Your background includes strategic negotiations with core manufacturing vendors, and you possess a deep understanding of technical processes and applications. You are driven by a hunger for excellence and have a proven track record of optimizing supply chains to meet ambitious production goals. Your leadership skills are complemented by creativity and persistence, enabling you to navigate complex challenges effectively. You understand the importance of balancing cost, rate, and reliability in a high-stakes environment, and you are motivated to enable suppliers for success.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Raptor Supply Chain team, focusing on optimizing the supply chain for premium quality components. You will work closely with senior leadership and program executives, ensuring that the supply base can meet rapidly evolving designs and increasing production volumes. Your responsibilities will include driving cost reductions while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability. You will oversee vendor development and ensure that new product developments transition smoothly into stabilized, high-volume production. Your role will require you to implement risk mitigation strategies effectively, ensuring that the right parts are delivered to the right locations at the right times.
