Who you are

You have a strong background in infrastructure engineering, particularly with Kubernetes, and are passionate about building scalable systems that support high-demand applications. Your experience includes working in Site Reliability Engineering or Developer Operations, where you've developed automation solutions to streamline processes and enhance system reliability. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges.

You possess a solid understanding of cloud technologies and have hands-on experience deploying and managing on-premise compute resources. Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals and timelines. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they impact users.

What you'll do

As a Kubernetes Platform Infrastructure Engineer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for designing and operating the infrastructure that powers Starlink, ensuring it can scale to meet the needs of millions of users worldwide. You will develop automation tools to deploy and manage on-premise compute resources, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our systems. Your role will involve collaborating closely with software engineers and network teams to create highly scalable and maintainable software products that support our satellite constellation.
