Who you are
You have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, with experience in managing and maintaining complex equipment — your technical skills allow you to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively. You are adept at training technicians, ensuring they can operate and troubleshoot machinery to maintain high production standards.
Your expertise includes designing custom fixtures for PCBA, which enhances process efficiency — you understand the importance of optimizing workflows to meet aggressive production timelines. You are familiar with executing new product introduction builds across various work centers, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production.
You possess a keen eye for detail, allowing you to triage non-conforming products and drive resolutions — your proactive approach to identifying continuous improvement opportunities contributes to enhanced yield, performance, and cost-effectiveness. You are comfortable performing process development and validation on new models, ensuring they meet design integrity and quality standards.
Desirable
Experience with automated equipment programming and operation is a plus — familiarity with design of experiments (DOE) will help you in optimizing processes. What you'll do
As a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining production equipment, ensuring that it operates at peak efficiency — you will assist with the initial setup of PCBA lines and handle facility requests. Your role will involve programming and loading automated equipment to streamline production processes.
You will design custom fixtures for PCBA to ensure efficient process flow, which is critical for meeting production goals — training technicians to run and troubleshoot complex machines will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also be tasked with resolving production issues while maintaining design integrity and product quality.
Your work will include performing process development and validation on new models, ensuring that they are ready for production within aggressive timelines — you will identify continuous improvement opportunities that enhance yield, performance, and cost. You will define maintenance schedules and support activities to optimize and configure processes for building surface mount electronics assemblies.
