You have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and over 5 years of experience in mechanical integration and testing. Your background includes a strong understanding of design, schematics, operations, manufacturing, and testing processes. You possess engineering intuition and critical thinking skills, allowing you to navigate ambiguous requirements with minimal oversight. You are comfortable collaborating with both engineers and technicians to optimize manufacturing and automation processes, and you have a proven track record of evaluating designs for manufacturability and integration.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you face challenges across various work centers. Your ability to manage integration build flow and test operations is complemented by your experience in developing and refining manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned. You are adept at evaluating non-conformances to determine root causes and create actionable items for system improvements. Your strong communication skills enable you to interface effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that satellites achieve their mission.

Desirable

Experience with satellite systems or aerospace engineering is a plus. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in mechanical engineering will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. What you'll do

As a Senior Mechanical Integration & Test Engineer at SpaceX, you will manage the integration build flow and test operations for satellite systems.
