What you'll do

As an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems for gas farm operations and wastewater treatment processes. This includes developing PLC control logic and ensuring that all systems operate safely and efficiently. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes like vacuum deposition and etching, ensuring that production goals are met while minimizing risks.

You will also be involved in troubleshooting and maintaining existing systems, ensuring that they comply with safety regulations and operational standards. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry best practices and continuously seek ways to improve system performance. You will play a key role in scaling production of high-efficiency solar cells, contributing to sustainable energy solutions for SpaceX's ambitious projects.
