What you'll do

As an Automation & Controls Engineer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing automation projects that are critical to the Starlink production process. This includes initial factory ideation, machine commissioning, and ensuring proof of rate capability before handing off to operational teams. You will architect and write PLC code, focusing on generating efficient and reliable code that meets production demands.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into existing systems, enhancing overall factory performance. Your role will involve troubleshooting and optimizing automation processes to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability. You will also be tasked with monitoring factory health and implementing improvements based on data analysis.
