Job Description
Who you are
You have experience as an IT Support Technician, ideally in a fast-paced environment where you have supported critical operations. Your strong technical skills in both Windows and Linux systems enable you to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. You possess excellent customer service skills, allowing you to interact positively with high-caliber engineers and other staff members. You are organized and capable of managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring that all equipment is accounted for and functioning optimally. You thrive in challenging situations and are motivated to provide top-notch support to your colleagues.
What you'll do
In this role, you will provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier support to SpaceX employees, ensuring that their IT needs are met promptly and efficiently. You will manage on-site inventory and oversee the total lifecycle of IT assets, from onboarding new equipment to troubleshooting and repairing existing systems. Your responsibilities will also include the installation and configuration of hardware and software solutions, as well as providing support for conference room technologies. You will work closely with engineers to understand their specific IT needs and deliver solutions that enhance their productivity.
