You have a background in manufacturing engineering with a focus on electro-mechanical systems — you've designed and implemented assembly processes that meet high-volume production targets. Your experience includes collaborating with design teams to ensure manufacturability and quality in production. You are skilled in using tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create detailed designs and specifications. You thrive in fast-paced environments where you can lead prototype builds and ensure that production milestones are met. Your strong communication skills allow you to effectively interact with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Desirable
Experience with satellite manufacturing or aerospace engineering is a plus. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies will help you excel in this role.
What you'll do
As a Manufacturing Engineer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electro-mechanical assembly and test processes for the Starlink project.
