Familiarity with troubleshooting and deploying automation systems in a utility context is highly desirable. You are adaptable and willing to travel to other SpaceX facilities as needed to support various projects.

What you'll do

As an Automation & Controls Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of automation and control systems for the infrastructure and utility systems at Starbase. You will support cross-functional teams on various projects, contributing to rapid and continuous improvements in the systems that power Starship's production and launch operations. Your role will involve deploying and troubleshooting standardized automation for critical power and utility systems, ensuring that they meet the high standards required for SpaceX's ambitious goals. You will also assist with control and automation upgrades to scale systems in line with production rate targets, and you will play a key role in commissioning, testing, and training for new automation projects.
