Overview
SpaceX is hiring an Industrial Security Analyst (CSSO/CPSO) to ensure program deliverables are met and security requirements are communicated effectively. This role is based in Hawthorne, CA, and requires a multidisciplinary approach to security.
Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in industrial security and understand the complexities of compliance and security requirements in a high-tempo environment. You are a problem-solver who can convey security protocols to diverse technical teams, ensuring everyone is aligned with program classification requirements. Your ability to partner with mission management and government representatives is crucial for success in this role.
You are detail-oriented and proactive in conducting self-inspections and audits, ensuring that security SOPs are up to date and adhered to. You have a strong understanding of personnel clearance processes and can assist in managing these clearances effectively. Your communication skills allow you to support annual refresher training and briefings, ensuring that all team members are informed and compliant with security protocols.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with mission management and engineering teams to ensure that program deliverables are met and that security requirements are understood. You will assist with compliance-related activities, including self-inspections and audits, to maintain high security standards. Your responsibilities will also include managing personnel clearances for responsible programs and coordinating transportation plans for classified materials.
You will play a key role in ensuring that security SOPs are current and being followed, supporting all annual refresher, INDOC, and exit briefings. Your work will be critical in maintaining the integrity of SpaceX's security operations, contributing to the company's mission of enabling human life on Mars.
