Who you are
You have a strong background in test automation and semiconductor testing, with experience in developing and validating testing processes. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of integrated circuit packaging and assembly. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced setting, and you are passionate about contributing to innovative projects like Starlink.
You possess hands-on experience with DC/RF probe stations, parametric analyzers, and vector network analyzers (VNAs), allowing you to measure I-V characteristics, capacitance, RF insertion loss, and return loss on individual dies. Your technical expertise is complemented by your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with the engineering team to define integration and process of record (POR) for silicon assembly. You will be responsible for recipe development, automated equipment programming, and validation, ensuring that all processes meet the high standards set by SpaceX. Your work will directly impact the success of the Starlink mission, as you focus on the quality, reliability, and manufacturability of the products delivered.
You will execute wafer-level probing and testing, utilizing advanced equipment to gather critical data that informs design and manufacturing decisions. Collaborating with IC packaging engineers and test engineers, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during testing, ensuring that the final products meet stringent performance criteria.
