Who you are
You have experience operating and maintaining electrochemical plating equipment, particularly in the context of integrated circuit packaging. Your understanding of plating processes, including current density, electrolyte composition, and temperature control, allows you to achieve uniform metal deposition with precision. You thrive in environments where quality and reliability are paramount, and you enjoy solving complex problems that have a significant impact on product outcomes.
You are detail-oriented and have a strong grasp of the technical aspects of plating processes. Your ability to monitor and optimize plating parameters ensures that the products you deliver meet the highest standards of manufacturability and security. You are comfortable collaborating with engineers and equipment manufacturers to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
What you'll do
In this role, you will operate and maintain electrochemical plating equipment, focusing on copper electroplating tools and seed layer deposition systems. You will monitor and optimize plating process parameters to ensure void-free fills and controlled thickness on patterned wafers. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing process improvements to enhance throughput and quality.
You will work closely with IC packaging engineers and test engineers to ensure that the plating processes align with the overall goals of the Starlink project. Your contributions will be critical in achieving the mission of providing reliable internet to the entire world through the Starlink satellite constellation.
