Your technical skills include proficiency in BIM or mapping software such as ArcGIS or Revit, which you have used to maintain accurate space allocations and coordinate decisions across teams.

Your problem-solving skills enable you to provide creative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, and you are always up to date with space needs and timelines to support your stakeholders effectively.

Desirable

Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with corporate operations in a fast-paced environment. A background in aerospace or a related field would be beneficial, as would any experience in strategic planning and process optimization.

What you'll do

As an Operations Engineer (Space Planning) at SpaceX, you will conduct operations engineering at a strategic level, focusing on optimizing resources, schedules, and risk management. You will manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring that all tasks are executed within tight timelines while effectively communicating with stakeholders. Your role will involve maintaining accurate information regarding space allocations and coordinating decisions within and between campuses.

You will engage with leadership and Operations Engineering teams across various groups to understand their requirements and provide input into space strategy and utilization. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of operations on the Hawthorne campus, and you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate space allocations that align with the company's goals.
