SpaceX is hiring an Operations Engineer (Space Planning) to optimize space allocations and manage multiple projects on the Hawthorne campus. You'll work with BIM and mapping software like ArcGIS and Revit to enhance operational efficiency.

Who you are
You have a background in operations engineering with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously — your ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders is key to your success. You are familiar with space planning and have a strong understanding of resource optimization and scheduling under uncertainty. Your technical skills include proficiency in BIM or mapping software such as ArcGIS or Revit, which you have used to maintain accurate space allocations and coordinate decisions across teams.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy engaging with leadership and engineering teams to understand requirements and synchronize efforts. Your problem-solving skills enable you to provide creative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, and you are always up to date with space needs and timelines to support your stakeholders effectively.
Desirable
Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with corporate operations in a fast-paced environment. A background in aerospace or a related field would be beneficial, as would any experience in strategic planning and process optimization.
