Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Manager of NDE Operations to lead a team responsible for complex inspections on Falcon and Dragon hardware. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

As the Manager of NDE Operations, you will lead a team of inspectors, specialists, and supervisors responsible for conducting complex inspections on Falcon and Dragon hardware. You will ensure that inspections are performed in a timely manner, preventing any delays in hardware flow unless flaws are detected. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the quality of hardware produced in Hawthorne. You will be responsible for managing the availability of inspectors and ensuring that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively. You will also be tasked with adapting to the dynamic environment at SpaceX, where requirements and schedules can shift rapidly. Your role will involve collaborating with other departments to ensure that inspection processes align with production goals and timelines.
