Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical engineering and automation, with hands-on experience in integrating complex systems. You are skilled in creating work instructions and troubleshooting electrical and controls systems, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at identifying and resolving manufacturing difficulties, proposing effective solutions to improve processes. Your experience includes selecting and maintaining equipment necessary for testing and fabrication projects, and you are comfortable onboarding new machinery or equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
Desirable
Experience with AutoCAD is a plus, as it will aid in the design and planning phases of your projects. Familiarity with embedded systems and controls will further enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will create detailed work instructions for the integration of electrical and controls systems, ensuring that all components are installed correctly and efficiently. You will identify tricky designs that may lead to manufacturing difficulties and escalate these issues while proposing solutions to streamline the process. Your responsibilities will also include providing production support by rapidly addressing issue tickets and collaborating with engineers to define requirements and standard repairs. You will troubleshoot electrical and controls systems, ensuring that any issues are resolved quickly to maintain project timelines. Additionally, you will select, modify, and maintain the equipment needed for tests and fabrication projects, ensuring that all tools are in optimal condition for use.
