Who you are

You have experience in production coordination or a related field, where you've developed strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You understand the importance of maintaining accurate data within ERP systems and have a keen eye for detail to ensure that materials are handled according to specifications. Your communication skills allow you to effectively liaise between internal teams and external customers, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned.

You thrive in fast-paced environments and are adept at problem-solving, particularly when it comes to logistics and supply chain challenges. Your ability to work collaboratively with planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams is essential in this role, as you will be responsible for ensuring that parts are delivered on time and meet quality standards. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and resolving them before they impact production schedules.

What you'll do

As a Production Coordinator in the Materials Labs at SpaceX, you will monitor, track, and move parts through the company to ensure timely delivery to the next production location. You will be responsible for ensuring that parts are handled, packaged, and protected according to SpaceX specifications. Maintaining scans and location accuracy within the shop and the ERP system will be a critical part of your daily tasks. You will coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery of piece parts and outside services as required.

In this role, you will work closely with various teams, including planning, procurement, engineering, and production, to ensure that ERP data remains clean and accurate. You will assist in resolving incorrect system data that could lead to inappropriate demand or scheduling issues. Additionally, you will develop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints for both internal and customer use. Supporting the logistics process through innovative staging of workflow will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that materials are managed effectively throughout the production cycle.
