SpaceX is hiring a Production Coordinator to oversee the timely delivery of components and assemblies within their manufacturing teams. You'll collaborate with production leadership to ensure quality standards are met. This role is based in Hawthorne, CA.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a detail-oriented individual with a strong ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working independently while ensuring that production timelines are met. Your organizational skills allow you to monitor and track parts through the production flow seamlessly.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with various teams, including planning, procurement, engineering, and production. You understand the importance of maintaining accurate data within ERP systems and are proactive in addressing any discrepancies.
What you'll do
As a Production Coordinator, you will monitor, track, and move parts through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to the next production location. You will independently manage the scheduling of component deliveries and assembly workflows, proactively addressing potential bottlenecks to maintain production timelines.
You will coordinate the physical movement of parts through various stages, including receiving inspection and stock rooms, ensuring that all parts are handled according to SpaceX specifications. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining the accuracy of scans and locations within the shop and the ERP system, working closely with other teams to ensure data integrity.
