You have 5+ years of experience in RFIC design, with a strong background in developing analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuits. Your expertise includes working with various semiconductor processes such as SiGe, GaAs, GaN, or CMOS, and you are skilled in circuit simulation and modeling. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy tackling complex engineering challenges. Your ability to derive specifications for RFIC subsystems and circuits sets you apart, and you have a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs.

Desirable

Experience with IC floor planning and layout is a plus, as is familiarity with packaging prototypes and product development. You are comfortable working alongside system architects, modem/DSP, and ASIC engineers to partition functions between hardware and software domains. What you'll do

As a Senior RFIC Design Engineer on the Starshield team, you will be responsible for designing, simulating, and modeling RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems. You will derive specifications for RFIC subsystems and circuits, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of deployment in space and ground infrastructures. Your role will involve developing advanced analog, mixed-signal, RF, and microwave circuits using various semiconductor processes. You will collaborate closely with system architects and other engineers to partition functions effectively between hardware and software domains, contributing to the overall success of the projects.

You will also take ownership of IC floor planning and layout, ensuring that designs are optimized for performance and manufacturability. Your work will directly support U.S. National Security efforts, making a significant impact on the future of space exploration and technology.
