Who you are
You have a strong background in robotics engineering, with hands-on experience in automation and controls systems. You understand the complexities of designing and activating hardware and software systems for production lines, and you are familiar with NFPA79/NEC/UL508A compliance standards. Your expertise in electrical engineering allows you to lay out industrial control panels and create schematics for electrical, pneumatic, and fluid systems. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside talented engineers to develop innovative automated solutions.
Desirable
Experience with large-scale production systems and a passion for aerospace technology are highly desirable. Familiarity with the Starship project and its goals will give you an edge in understanding the challenges and opportunities in this role.
What you'll do
As a Robotics Engineer at SpaceX, you will participate in the conceptual development of equipment for the Starship production line. Your responsibilities will include designing and activating hardware and software systems that enhance automation in production processes.
