Who you are

You have a strong background in robotics and controls systems, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex issues within manufacturing environments. Your expertise includes working with industrial control panels and integrating vendor equipment into centralized SCADA systems. You are skilled in data-driven decision-making and have a solid understanding of PLC, HMI, and SCADA development. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maximizing the uptime of automation assets.

You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can develop data analysis tools to identify and address downtime sources effectively. Your experience includes specifying and procuring components and hardware necessary for implementing control solutions. You are comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure the successful integration of new technologies.

What you'll do

As a Robotics Specialist at SpaceX, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex controls issues within our PCB manufacturing processes. You will focus on long-term repairs that enhance the reliability of production systems, rather than quick fixes. Your role will involve integrating vendor and OEM equipment into our centralized SCADA software, enabling advanced line control and maximizing the uptime of all automation assets.

You will develop data analysis tools to root-cause the largest sources of downtime and propose long-term fixes to improve efficiency. Additionally, you will be involved in the specification and procurement of required components, sensors, and hardware needed for implementing effective controls solutions. Your hands-on experience will be crucial as you wire, commission, and validate new systems, ensuring they meet our high standards for performance and reliability.
