What you'll do
As an Automation & Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex controls issues within SpaceX's PCB manufacturing processes. You will integrate vendor and OEM equipment into centralized SCADA software, enhancing line control and maximizing uptime of automation assets. Your role will involve developing data analysis tools to identify root causes of downtime and proposing long-term fixes to improve system reliability.
You will also assist in the design of new control components, ensuring they meet the operational needs of the manufacturing lines. Your responsibilities will include specifying and procuring necessary components, sensors, and hardware for implementing controls.
