You are a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in designing, developing, and testing software solutions. You have experience in creating scalable applications and enjoy tackling complex challenges in a dynamic environment. Your expertise in programming languages such as Java and Python allows you to contribute effectively to high-performance applications. You understand the importance of software best practices and are committed to delivering high-quality code. You hold a Top Secret Clearance, which enables you to work on sensitive projects that are critical to mission success.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design and implement automated testing for hardware in the loop (HITL) and hardware out of the loop (HOOTL) software. Your work will ensure that deliverables meet target design criteria and operate within technical constraints. You will develop full-stack solutions to manage automated testing of vehicle subsystems, leveraging simulation and prototyping techniques. You will have full ownership of new features in a scalable application used to control and test flight systems. Your contributions will directly impact the development and demonstration of cutting-edge software and hardware, playing a crucial role in SpaceX's mission to enable human life on Mars. You will collaborate with various engineering teams to ensure that the software solutions you develop are robust and reliable.
