Who you are
You have a strong background in software development, particularly in Python and C++, and possess a keen interest in thermal design and fluid systems. Your experience includes developing software tools that support complex analysis and improve design processes. You are familiar with simulation techniques and have a solid understanding of thermal and fluid system modeling. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers to enhance mission-critical analysis throughput.
Desirable
Experience with thermal and fluid systems in aerospace or similar industries is a significant plus. Familiarity with automation tools and workflows will help you excel in this role. You are proactive in seeking solutions and enjoy tackling challenges that require innovative thinking.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design and develop software and workflows that enhance the throughput of mission-critical analysis for Starshipβs thermal and fluid systems. You will build infrastructure to support these analyses, ensuring that systems perform reliably in extreme environments. Your responsibilities will include automating analysis workflows to expedite mission and design iterations, as well as supporting simulation and validation efforts using test and flight data. You will collaborate with engineers to improve existing processes and contribute to the overall success of the Thermal & Fluid Analysis team.
