What you'll do

As a Sourcing Manager for the Starshield project, you will be responsible for managing the demand plan and sourcing for hardware used in the satellite constellation. You will work directly with key suppliers to develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies that support both existing platforms and new product development. Your role will involve acting as the supplier interface for all RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, ensuring that cost management is aggressive and aligns with project-specific budgets and forecasts.

You will drive internal and external process improvements to enhance efficiency and implement cost-saving measures. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that suppliers are prepared to support all prototype builds, contributing to the overall success of the satellite factory of the future. Your ability to influence and shape suppliers will be crucial as you challenge the supply chain on cost, quality, and speed of execution.
