You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to develop and maintain procedures and work instructions that are clear and effective. Your ability to analyze and resolve issues is complemented by your commitment to increasing safety, reliability, and efficiency in the workplace. You are comfortable spending time with suppliers to understand their work environments and drive process improvements.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the program that evaluates the conformity of purchased parts to purchase order requirements. This involves verifying supplier-provided documentation and checking parts for damage, correct part numbers, revisions, quantities, and trace information. You will assist in developing and maintaining procedures and work instructions, ensuring that the source inspection team and suppliers adhere to updated protocols. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing and resolving quality gaps, as well as implementing changes in working conditions to enhance overall efficiency.

You will spend approximately 25% of your time working directly with suppliers, gaining insights into their processes and driving improvements in their inspections. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of quality and accountability within your team, as you guide them in their daily tasks and support their professional development.
