You have a strong background in IT systems administration, with experience in managing networking and server environments. You are comfortable working on mission-critical systems and understand the urgency that comes with supporting launch operations. You possess a solid understanding of Linux systems and have experience with networking protocols and configurations. Your ability to leverage automation tools to streamline processes is a key asset, and you enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues proactively.
You are skilled in authoring and maintaining documentation for IT systems, ensuring that all procedures and design drawings are clear and accessible. Your experience includes performing system upgrades and patches, often under tight deadlines, demonstrating your ability to manage time effectively.

What you'll do
In this role, you will augment and deploy new IT infrastructure, including networking, server, and desktop hardware that directly supports mission-critical networks across the country. You will monitor IT services and respond aggressively to incidents to maintain systems performance, ensuring that all systems are operational and efficient.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and resolve potential technical issues with systems deployments. Your responsibilities will include authoring and maintaining comprehensive documentation for IT systems, from systems overview documents to detailed procedures.
You will perform periodic systems upgrades and patches in between critical operations, sometimes working on weekends and evenings to ensure minimal disruption to launch activities. Your contributions will be pivotal in enabling a safe and sustained launch cadence, directly supporting SpaceX's ambitious goals.
