Experience with video streaming codecs and network video recording systems is a plus. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the architecture and build-out of SpaceX's communication infrastructure, supporting critical operations at the Rocket Development Facility. You will be responsible for configuring, developing, testing, and implementing codec settings for live video streaming, ensuring high-quality output for various applications. Your role will involve administering the network video recording system, where you will monitor performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. You will also build and support network systems that encompass voice, video, and data, including switches and routers, to create a robust communication environment.

You will collaborate closely with other teams to ensure that all communication systems are integrated and functioning optimally. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you perform detailed analysis and diagnosis of video streaming hardware problems, implementing solutions that enhance performance and reliability. You will maintain an inventory of equipment, ensuring that all necessary tools and resources are available for ongoing operations. Your contributions will play a vital role in supporting SpaceX's mission to develop technologies for human life on Mars.
