Who you are

You have a strong background in engineering with a focus on integration and testing, ideally with 3+ years of experience in aerospace or a related field. Your hands-on skills in assembly and testing of complex systems are complemented by your ability to lead critical operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You are proficient in Python and have experience working in Linux environments, which allows you to develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures effectively. You understand the importance of operational excellence and are skilled at identifying high-risk processes and implementing improvements. Your experience with CI/CD practices and tools like Docker enables you to streamline testing and integration processes. You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working with highly skilled technicians.

What you'll do

As an Integration & Test Engineer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for processing Falcon 9 flight vehicles to ensure rapid and reliable rocket re-use. You will develop and execute procedures for the checkout and integration of both new and flight-proven rockets and ground support equipment. Your role will involve leading hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of vehicle assemblies, ensuring that all operations meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will collaborate with engineering staff from various departments to resolve off-nominal test results and ensure flight readiness. Additionally, you will design and develop tools and hardware to facilitate vehicle assembly and conduct system testing. Your leadership will guide field technicians in daily operations, and you will manage work orders while driving non-conformances into actionable items. You will also lead root cause and corrective action investigations to address issues related to product reliability and quality.
