Job Description
Who you are
You hold a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics and have at least 1 year of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid systems — whether through class projects or internships. You are proficient in or have hands-on experience with launch vehicle or spacecraft integration, operations in clean rooms, and test operations involving gases and fluids. Your ability to manage multiple priorities while focusing on common program goals is essential, as is your collaborative spirit when working with engineering staff and technicians.
What you'll do
As an Integration & Test Engineer at SpaceX, you will work on the cutting edge of reusable rocket technology, developing methods for the rapid and reliable processing and re-flight of fairings recovered from the edge of space. You will provide engineering support for fairing refurbishment, testing, and re-flight, ensuring that all procedures for the integration and testing of flight hardware and ground support equipment are executed flawlessly. Your role will involve closely collaborating with engineering staff from various departments to disposition nonconformances and execute the launch manifest effectively. You will be responsible for managing and tracking multiple priorities, all while maintaining a focus on improving reliability and reducing overall labor hours.
